Pathfinder NEXUS Remaster Program
To make the transition to the 2nd edition remaster update as easy as possible, we've created the Pathfinder NEXUS Remaster Program. This page will give you all the details for what you can expect.
TL;DR
- Get a free upgrade to Player Core if you own or purchase Core Rulebook (add both books to your cart at the same time)
- Get a free upgrade to GM Core if you own or purchase Gamemastery Guide (add both books to your cart at the same time)
- Pathfinder NEXUS will offer day-one support for the Remaster rules
- Pathfinder NEXUS will give you the option to create characters reflecting Remaster or Legacy rules
- If you have unlocked a character option prior to the Remaster, you will have access to its Remaster version when it becomes available, no purchase required

Play Your Way
Demiplane’s Pathfinder NEXUS will offer day-one support for the Remaster rules updates. The first two books, Player Core and GM Core, are currently expected in mid-November. And even though there are a lot of good reasons to transition to the Remaster version, it's important for you to be able to play your way.
That means we will maintain support for legacy 2nd Edition rules, books, and characters. Plus, if you've unlocked character options like Ancestries, Backgrounds, Classes, Feats, Spells, or Items with your current NEXUS purchases, you'll automatically have access to the Remaster versions when they become available.
How will that work? Let's say you currently own the Core Rulebook on the NEXUS. This gives you access to the Champion class today. Next summer, the Champion class will be part of the Remastered Player Core 2 book. When Player Core 2 releases and you make a new Champion character, you'll have access to the Remaster version as well as the legacy Champion version. This will be automatic with no steps to take on your part.

Some people may be waiting for the Remaster before they try Pathfinder 2nd Edition. Others may be unsure if they are ready to upgrade or not. How does the Remaster Program help solve those problems for players?
