This page will give you all the details for what you can expect.  ## TL;DR - Get a **free upgrade** to Player Core if you own or purchase [Core Rulebook](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/core-rulebook) **(add both books to your cart at the same time)** - Get a **free upgrade** to GM Core if you own or purchase [Gamemastery Guide](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/gamemastery-guide) **(add both books to your cart at the same time)** - Pathfinder NEXUS will offer day-one support for the Remaster rules - Pathfinder NEXUS will give you the option to create characters reflecting Remaster or Legacy rules - If you have unlocked a character option prior to the Remaster, you will have access to its Remaster version when it becomes available, **no purchase required** **New to Demiplane's Pathfinder NEXUS? Get started by creating your free account. Click the big button 👇** [**![Pathfinder Get Started CTA Button](https://resources.demiplane.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Pathfinder%20Get%20Started%20CTA%20Button.png?width=300&height=135&name=Pathfinder%20Get%20Started%20CTA%20Button.png)**](https://app.demiplane.com//api/auth/login) ## Play Your Way Demiplane’s [Pathfinder NEXUS](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e) will offer day-one support for the Remaster rules updates. The first two books, [Player Core](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/player-core) and [GM Core](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/gm-core), are currently expected in mid-November. And even though there are a lot of good reasons to transition to the Remaster version, it's important for you to be able to *play your way*. That means we will maintain support for legacy 2nd Edition rules, books, and characters. Plus, if you've unlocked character options like [Ancestries](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/ancestries), [Backgrounds](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/backgrounds), [Classes](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/classes), [Feats](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/feats), [Spells](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/spells), or [Items](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/items) with your current NEXUS purchases, you'll automatically have access to the Remaster versions when they become available. How will that work? Let's say you currently own the [Core Rulebook](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/core-rulebook) on the NEXUS. This gives you access to the [Champion](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/classes/champion) class today. Next summer, the Champion class will be part of the Remastered Player Core 2 book. When [Player Core 2](https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/sources/player-core-2) releases and you make a new Champion character, you'll have access to the Remaster version as well as the legacy Champion version. This will be automatic with no steps to take on your part.    ## No Need to Wait (Free Stuff) Some people may be waiting for the Remaster before they try Pathfinder 2nd Edition. Others may be unsure if they are ready to upgrade or not. How does the Remaster Program help solve those problems for players? *Free stuff. * This includes: - **Free upgrade code**: If you currently own the Core Rulebook on the NEXUS, we will email you a code for Player Core - **Free upgrade code**: If you currently own the Gamemastery Guide, we will email you a code for GM Core - **Free "start now" code**: If you have pre-ordered Player Core, we will email you a code for the Core Rulebook - **Free "start now" code**: If you have pre-ordered GM Core, we will email you a code for the Gamemastery Guide - **Future-proofed purchase**: When you purchase the Core Rulebook, **add Player Core to your cart to get it free** - **Future-proofed purchase:** When you purchase the Gamemastery Guide, **add GM Core to your cart to get it free** ***Remember, when you are purchasing, be sure to add the free book to your cart as well. A 100% discount will be automatically applied.***   As we get closer to the Remaster launch, we'll update this page with FAQs and addition useful information.
